Operations Lead
Responsible for the oversight of the operations team (front end/ customer service), and for all departments when their managers were not present. This included:
-Cultivating a spirit of "play" and "being there" for customers and employees through specific, innovative approaches to direct, intentional communication and customer service.
-Training employees on these methods of communication and service, reporting on and responding to employee behavior, issuing and carrying out warnings when necessary.
-Handling tills, balancing the safe and making bank deposits.
-Dealing with issues in shift coverage, handling difficult customer issues (such as theft, disruptive, upset or hurt customer), responding to maintenance issues (loss of power, broken cooler, leaks, etc.), and generally ensuring the smooth functioning of the store.
