As a licensed mental health professional with 25+ years of experience, Dr. Angela Corrigan works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She maintains a leadership position in state and regional professional associations and supports the advancement of her profession. Dr. Corrigan is licensed by the state of Texas as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Certified as a TeleMental Health Practitioner she provides online counseling services to Texas residents. She is an active member of the Texas Counseling Association, member and past president of the Northeast Texas Counseling Association, past president and past Senator of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, member of the Texas Association of Mental Health Counselors, the Texas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Having a love for life-long learning and education, Dr. Corrigan teaches graduate level courses in the area of professional counseling, having included Introduction to Counseling, Counseling Theories, Multicultural Counseling, Group Counseling, Counseling Practicum, Counseling Internship, Marriage and Family Therapy, The Parent-Child Relationship, Substance Abuse Counseling, and Family Crisis. Speciality areas in the training of other professional counselors include, but are not limited to, counselor ethics, spirituality, marriage and family therapy, substance abuse and grief.

In private practice since 1996, Dr. Corrigan has vast experience working with a full range of mental, emotional, behavioral, and relational disorders and difficulties. Treatment is provided in a confidential and professional setting designed to maximize relaxation and safety. The Christian Counseling Center serves people of all faiths and respects individual choice. Most insurance is accepted, along with cash, credit cards & checks. Day and evening appointments available.
