Since day one, Professor Strausz talked about ten pages of essay that was due at the end of the semester. He repeatedly brought that up through the semester. Yet, he never gave any rubric or formal instructions until 1 week before the paper was due. We had to guess what he wanted. He's very unorganized. He made us read and talked about his books a lot. We had to write the exams in blue books for two hours.
