Awesome
Dr. Gardner is the best for lab. He will work with you through issues and he urges students to ask questions. He goes over the lab completely and everyone can observe the species when he is done. Lots of freedom which ends a little early. highly recommend his bio lab.
Good
Prof. Gardner is a fun teacher with long lectures though. He gives 6 quizzes, 3 exams, and a few group projects, including a debate and leaf collection project. He doesn't require textbooks, just powerpoints. I had no regrets taking this class even if it was only for my GenEd requirement.

I am the postdoc on an NSF-funded research project with Rachel Jabaily (Rhodes College) and Dianella Howarth (St. John’s University). I have built a broadly sampled and data-rich molecular phylogeny of the core Goodeniaceae
and will use it to reconstruct the evolution of floral symmetry in the clade. I have developed floral geometric morphometrics to compliment our work on CYC ortholog expression of among closely-related species with radially and bilaterally symmetric flowers.
