Doctor Russell isn't necessarily the most compelling teacher, but his class isn't hard at all if you attend the lectures, read the book, don't use your phone in class (he WILL kick you out), make timelines of important concepts in US History and start your semester paper early. If you take the time to get to know him, he is a good professor.
