She assigns concert reports that take 3 hours to write. you must plan on a least 2 hours to attend these concerts. She will test about the MOST specific piece of information that she barely touched on in class. After attending a class, you will have 5 hours of homework to do.
Awesome
Professor Imhoff was a good teacher. I took her for Music 201 and I think she did a great job. You have to go to class and take notes. Some of the tests are online and will require you to listen to a song and then interpret it, that is the most difficult thing you will do for this class. There are concert reports, group projects, and some extra credit. I recommend taking her!
Awesome
Professor Imhoff's class was my favorite last semester. It's an easy A as long as you put in the effort. She is the sweetest lady and genuinely cares about what she teaches. If you don't have any previous musical experience then studying will be necessary. Grades include a few group projects, open note tests, listening quizzes, and concert reports that were actually pretty fun.
Awesome
Prof. Imhoff is amazing! She's very passionate about teaching and she will really make you like classical music more. It's a pretty easy A by doing bare minimum if you are into band/classical music stuff. Otherwise, you'll have to a bit of studying. I would recommend this for a CA credit.
Awesome
Professor Imhoff deserves 5 stars, the people that give her any less are obviously those who didn't even try. MUSC201 consists of two group projects, three essays, two exams, and one final exam. On the exams you can use notes and the questions come directly from the slides. Attendance isn't required but it could mean the difference between an A or a B.
