As a successful artist
educator
and arts administrator
Anda is driven by opportunities that tie creativity with entrepreneurship and model expansive learning shaped by artistic methodologies.\n\nAnda is an experienced associate dean
program chair
faculty member
and artist. With a demonstrated history of working in art education at the post secondary level
she has collaborated with private donors
corporations
and university partners on strategic projects to build considerable outreach opportunities for OCAD University. Anda currently leads the OCADU Florence Off-Campus Study Program in Italy where she coordinates studio learning opportunities for the students abroad. \n\nAs a recognized Canadian abstract painter
her research promotes a conscious engagement with aesthetics - most specifically colour - positively impacts human flourishing and quality of life. By making artwork in both digital and traditional painting processes
Anda aims to create a highly perceptual experience. When visually drawn in to Anda's painting
the viewer is not always sure what they are looking at. Is it a painting? How is it made? Is the painting depicting something. These questions provoke the imagination and pull a viewer into a creative experience of their own. Anda's process causes one to consider the tools available for creative expression and communication in our contemporary age.
