This study examines 21 environmental sustainability reports from Fortune Global 500 petroleum companies to determine how competitive advantage and institutional language is used by corporations to explain their CSR.
An economic industry & institutional level of analysis of CSR communication
This study investigates the CSR communication of 103 Fortune 500 companies. This study was the genesis for two publications with the Conference Board of Directors as well as a 2013 webinar. Findings highlight the similarities and differences of CSR communication within and across industries.
