Prof Ariam is one of the best instructors I have had at DVC. He is very laid back and it's an easy class to pass. The quizzes are given once every week on key terms from the chapters read, which can vary from five terms to fifteen. There are multiple short papers to write as responses at the end of each chapter, and one five page paper at the end of the course.
