  I created this blog as a way to stay in touch with my friends and family back in New York. Currently

  I am in a process of transition. I am leaving the safety of a tenured position as an English teacher in Westchester to pursue a PhD in Literature at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.

  After a much needed hiatus
