I competed my PhD in History in the Spring of 2015.\n\nMy dissertation looked at the emergence of Aboriginal transracial adoption in Canada
primarily Saskatchewan. I am interested in the intersection of race
gender and colonialism in the lives of indigenous women and children. \n\nWhile not teaching or researching
I enjoy assisting with the operation of our family farm west of Melfort
Saskatchewan.

Promotion Farms
Ltd is a family grain farming operation that has been in existence since 1920. I began working for the farm from 1998 when I married its primary operator
Tyler Stevenson. This work has provided me with important knowledge of the agriculture industry and rural life.
