Dr. Seed taught grades 4-8 for 18 years in urban, suburban, and private schools. He was instrumental in changing a junior high school into a middle school and was Madiera City School's Teacher of the Year. He earned his Ph. D. in 1994 from Miami University and began working at Northern Kentucky University. There he was charged with growing the Middle School Education Program. From 1995-2002 the program grew from 45 students to over 200. He then moved to the University of Memphis where he developed their new Middle School Education Program.
Dr. Seed would like to expand his professional development work with schools and other organizations.
