Good
Professor Ozmetin has both pros and cons. If you want a professor who gives a lighter workload than look no further. Ozmetin assigns a lot less work than the other engineering professors. But the only con is that his lectures could be better, he doesn't always do such a great job at explaining new topics. Not a bad professor. Also, he curves class.

Prof. Oz is very nice and accessible outside of class. 216 is a lab class so most of your grade comes from the lab reports which is graded by TA. Apart from this, HW and final are pretty easy. I'd definitely take him again!
Awesome
Professor Ozmetin's class was much easier than Chemistry 107. The laboratory classes were simple and the teaching assistants were very helpful too. The lecture was boring though but the homework was just alright.

Professor Ozmetin is fine. Definitely, he's more concerned with Mat Sci than with ENGR216. But sometimes he looks dry, bored, and doesn't want to work. I will say that he's good at answering questions, and more than willing to go back and explain things in class. Neither too difficult nor too easy class. In my opinion, it just has an average workload and difficulty.

Honestly, Professor Ozmetin is trying his best. However, his lectures were not that helpful. I joined him in the second week of class since I heard he was easy, and it was worth it though. Although you won't really learn that much unless you study the PowerPoints. On the other hand, he gives up a small amount of homework, which is amazing. Hopefully, you'll get a good teacher assistant.
Good
Professor Ozmetin really cares about student learning. He doesn't make grading material terribly hard. He's really just seriously trying to let you know what he's going to teach. Unfortunately, he's usually stuck with courses that don't make sense, so few people take them seriously. Hopefully, this doesn't take away his caring nature.
