Doctor Hernandez was an amazing lecturer. However, I think he excepts way too much for an intro level course. The information we learned was very interesting and eye opening but I will not take him again simply because of the amount of work he gave. The amount of readings, papers and exam difficulty I think were ridiculous.

This professor is not for everybody. The coursework is a bit much for an intro to soci class. There is about 15-20 required readings and videos each week that you will have to read/watch. Take good notes over them because they show up on the midterm and final. The lectures aren't posted online even though attendance is optional.

Awful

For an intro class. this is way too particular on quizzes. Homework involves readings up to 18 pgs along with multiple other readings.
