Awesome
Prof. Negrete is very humble and caring. I've always doubted that I can get an A, but he's very willing to help. I suggest you really go to pre-lab/rec. You will also have to put in time to understand the material, but homework is tougher than exams. To prep for exams, slides would be very helpful.
Awful
Prof. Alejandro gives long lectures but he isn't helpful at all. He wouldn't care about you at all unless you have time to email him daily to show him that you're trying.
Average
Prof. Alejandro wasn't considerate about the whole pandemic situation! He never offered us help even though he knows it's a hard time for everyone! He even gave 4 exams that would either make or break you! Once you do bad on one exam, your whole grade is messed up. Wouldn't recommend him at all.
Awesome
Prof. Negrete is awesome! He's very helpful esp with the pandemic. You can see that he loves his students. Class is test heavy though, so make sure you really know the material!
Average
Professor Negrete, will allow you to use your laboratory book during exams, as long as you show up in class. It has questions straight from the laboratory book, so you must show up. The laboratory grade is worth eighty points, added with four lecture exams which is a hundred points each and homework that is five points. Unfortunately, he's not lenient on giving grades, nor provides extra credit. If you got 69% he will not round it off. So, you must do your best on the exams.
