Designed for students with little writing experience. Introduces them to the writing process while building confidence and fluency. Students learn writing as a social act intended for different audiences and purposes.

Prereq: WRTG 0900 w/C grade or better, or appropriate Accuplacer score. Prepares students for college-level writing. Uses discussion, critical thinking, reading and writing to discover ideas and meaning for writer and reader alike.
