Alan Korejbo is a professional archaeologist with field experience in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, and British Columbia conducting Heritage Resource Impact Assessments (HRIA). He has worked on both reconnaissance surveys and detailed investigations of significant archaeological sites in the energy sector (wind and oil projects), mining sector (oil sands, coal, diamond, uranium), transportation sector (highways and grid roads), linear development projects (pipeline and transmission line), Provincial and regional parks, and a number of residential sub-division developments. Alan has experience conducting archaeological assessments across Western Canada with particular expertise in carrying out heritage assessments in the province of Saskatchewan.
Alan is committed to exceeding client’s expectations and working as a part of a successful team. Archaeological consulting can be a demanding profession; Alan has always met these demands and has an excellent track record.
Alan believes in integrity and professionalism in archaeology. As such, he has served on the executive of the Saskatchewan Association of Professional Archaeologists (SAPA), and has also served in specialized committees such as the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society’s (SAS) Education Committee.
Some of the past projects that Alan has been involved with include Embridge’s Line 3 Replacement project and Northern Gateway project, BC Hydro’s Site C Clean Energy Project, a number of SaskPower transmission line and mining projects, Syncrude’s Greenfields project, numerous Saskatchewan Highways projects and Saskatchewan RM projects, including the Weldon Ferry monitoring project, Nexxen Energy’s Liard River project, the Schuler Wind Energy project, Shell’s Sharkbite oilsands project, and numerous other oil and gas projects.
