Alan Elliott is a native Texan with a knack for story. He is co-author and associate producer of the movie Angels Love Donuts (with Leon McWhorter) filmed in Dallas and released on DVD. Alan is an author of over 25 books including these recent titles: Willy, The Texas Longhorn (a children’s picture book), Texas Ingenuity: Lone Star Inventors, Inventions, and Innovator, Images of America: Oak Cliff (a pictorial history of the Oak Cliff section of Dallas), Currents in American History (a brief history of the United States, with Terry Bilhartz), and A Daily Dose of the American Dream, Stories of Success, Triumph and Inspiration (365 American success stories.) His recent suspense ebook, Takeover: A Writers Nightmare has received a number of positive reviews.
Alan is currently working on a project titled "The Legend of Big Tex"
