Professor Lawo-Sukam isn't very tough on grading, but you must be prepared to talk in his class. He is also a bit hard to understand because he talks very fast a lot of the time. He likes to have you work in groups, so if you don't mind that than it's not a bad class. It's definitely not the worst Spanish class.
Awesome
For Professor Lawo-Sukam's class only requires you to make moderate effort .I did not even need to do the final paper to get a B. He emails a document summarizing the texts and the exam is just fill in the blank. The attendance is graded. You have to read the assigned readings before class and just talk about it in class. Also, occasionally you have to write a single spaced two page paper
Awesome
Professor Sukam is my favorite. He truly cares about his students and that they try to learn Spanish. He starts every class with five minutes of love where he just wants you to talk to other students and get to know each other. Honestly, it's very effective. By the end of the semester the whole class had actually gotten better with Spanish and we were like a family. I suggest you take his class.
