I have been a college professor for over a decade. It has been exciting to be a part of the evolution of elearning. I have designed courses for online delivery from scratch as well as completed face to face to online course conversions. I have also worked with the consortium, WVROCKS (West Virginia Remote Online Collaborative Knowledge System), to design and instruct courses for adult learners seeking the RBA degree.

I have always been a puzzle solver. Instructional design is a puzzle. The pieces have to be put together correctly to create the big picture. Louis Sullivan said, "It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic...of all true manifestations of the head, of the heart, of the soul, that the life is recognizable in its expression, that form ever follows function." I agree. An effective, efficiently designed class must have at its core, solid, theory driven design. The form takes shape with all the exciting and ever evolving technological elements now available.
