Dr. Ali is one of the best Mathematics professors that I've ever had. Yes I admit his class is very hard since it is Calculus 1. He talks and writes really fast and will give you a lot homework to be done which you really need to do to prepares yourself to understand his lectures and to do well in labs. However, he just want his students to understand the course and that shows.
