Good
Dr. Moncayo is a nice guy. Everyone should be successful. He offers help want you it. No teaching in this class and but there are a ton of guest speakers. Midterms reasonable and projects interesting.
Awesome
Professor Moncayo is disorganized like others say. He's often late to class because he's working for the Department of Health simultaneously. A fair trade-off for an experienced professor. Also, he responded to all of my emails. There are lots of guest lectures that were mostly fantastic too. Even if there are a lot of vague discussions about things like why race matters, I still recommend his class.
Poor
Professor Moncayo is content-wise not very public health-oriented. He has a lot of general social science knowledge though. He also liked to answer questions in general. However, he provides little feedback. Still, I'm not sure how I did on quizzes or papers because he often delayed grades. Overall, he's a caring person, but not much of a professor.
