• Serve as Custodian of all Agency records; conduct regular internal audits as well as mandated audits per the Texas Family Code (juvenile records), Code of Criminal Procedure (racial profiling), and Government Code (asset forfeiture)
• Formulate and forecast short- and long-term strategic goals; meet or exceed operational objectives
• Research and analyze data for allocation of resources; develop policies and procedures for agency; implement programs and evaluate success; conduct major statistical analyses to generate empirical evidence of success
• Author and facilitate grants and contracts through the State Comptroller and U.S. Department of Justice
• Liaise with Office of Emergency Management to develop county disaster plan; coordinate Agency emergency operations; Completed NIMS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 courses.
