I took Massey's class online fifteen times. Then I did 5 tests and 5 discussion boards for EC. While I was able to just barely get a B, my frustration was not having access to quizzes built into the Pearson Revel product that I paid for. Which lead me to believe he uses those for his tests. That would have made a difference for me being able to review material before taking the tests. Massey may be an excellent professor for Psychology, He is a zero for me. I could not follow his exam makeup class. Everything was Greek to me. I guess I will have to look into a tutor or join a Frat House so that the brothers can give me a hand.
Good
Professor Massey was very attentive to my questions and concerns. He made the class time very interesting with current ideas and stories, that is related to what we study from the book. He goes the extra mile just to be sure we understand what is required of us during the session. Get ready to read, make sure to always attend the class and definitely you will pass.
Good
I love psychology. However for some reason, I found it hard to engage in this book, which made taking the test difficult. The chapters were long and each test was more than three chapters. He only grades a total of six assignments, four exams, an extra credit assignment and the mandatory psych paper. Overall, Professor Massey is good though.
Awful
During the spring of 2020, I enrolled in Professor Massey's online course. The grading requirements are simple, but there is no extra credit if it is needed. I wouldn't recommend taking his class if you're looking for an instructor who can respond to emails and support you with any questions you might have.
