Currently completing book using an interdisciplinary approach to civilizational changes focused on witches as an example of the outsider. This continues previous work on the "Mau-Mau" revolution and the American Civil Rights movement. See, for example, Chapter 13: The Social and Economic Bases of Political Developments in The Social Bases of Politics (Arnold K. Sherman and Aliza Kolker, Wadsworth, Belmont, CA, 1987.) Teaching at Howard County Community College learned: PowerPoint, Mediasite, Canvas and ZOOM.
From 1991 to 1994 I was a community organizer in Pigtown, Baltimore, MD. I chaired a community association, served on virtually every board of organizations in the community, edited a newsletter. created, and chaired a business association, was a member, an umbrella organization which negotiated a reduce car insurance program. I was an active participant in creating the plan which won for Baltimore the 100,000-million-dollar Empowerment Zone Grant, and was a key member of creating the bi-laws and Constitution for the Village of Pigtown.
