I took his class for SPAN3305 and SPAN3319. You cannot get an easy A on his class but you will definitely learn. It's true that class participation is very important to him because he likes to measure how well the students know the material. He can be very bubbly and nice but, I understand that some people don't like to be joked around. Overall this professor is pretty good.

Professor Elliott's homework is typically over what will be covered in the next class. This will leave you confused if you are doing it correctly. But you will get credit for turning in homework. Still you are always left confused during exams and you need to know what to work on. Also our class atmosphere was not enjoyable because of his condescending and rude remarks.
