Exercise and fitness have always been a source of tremendous passion and motivation for me. I am a firm believer that hard work and dedication in the gym is the key to clarity and strength of both mind and body. I experienced this first hand after completing my personal training certification just days before my 21st birthday; I noticed remarkable improvements in my fitness level, grades, and self esteem, and felt compelled to share my experience with others.
My approach to personal training is unique as I incorporate my academic background in kinesiology into my training sessions to educate others on the benefits of exercise from a scientific perspective. I believe that knowing what is going on at the anatomical level when you squat, run, or are finishing up that last burpee is not only interesting, but important in understanding why I tailor each exercise regiment to suit my client’s individual needs.
I pride myself with the high level of service I give to each and every client to help them achieve their personal health and fitness goals. I am also a proud professor at Fanshawe College where I teach courses for their Fitness & Health Promotion Program, and have appeared in countless video productions depicting various exercise demonstrations.
