I had professor Arancibia for ENG 101 and 205, and if you want somebody who is clear on what they expect, is approachable, and will help you to do your best in your four years, make sure to take the class.

If you didn't take Prof. Arancibia's 101 class, then you are at an immediate disadvantage because there's honestly only one right way to do things which is HIS way. He actually gave me a C on all my papers even after I had his fave student proofread it for me.

Professor Sivia, really cares about his students and wants you to succeed. However, you have to be willing to do the work. English is not my best subject, but having a class from a Chicanoor Latin perspective, continued to really engage in what we were learning. Definitely, I feel more confident in my writing skills. 100%, I recommend this class!
